ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released a statement after Raphael Warnock voted AGAINST protecting babies that survive abortions or abortion attempts.

The bipartisan bill would protect newborns that survive abortions by requiring appropriate care and admission to a hospital. The bipartisan legislation requires that, when an abortion results in the live birth of an infant, healthcare practitioners must exercise the same degree of professional skill and care to protect the newborn as would be offered to any other child born alive at the same gestational age. It also requires that the living child, after appropriate care has been given, be immediately transported and admitted to a hospital.

“Raphael Warnock’s lack of care for the most vulnerable among us is shameful,” said campaign spokesman Will Kiley. “Every life has value and should be protected whenever possible. This simple bill would merely ensure the well-being and health of those who cannot stand up for themselves, but it doesn’t seem Warnock cares about them. All Washington Warnock cares about is selling his new book, getting rich, and blindly supporting Joe Biden’s reckless agenda that has given Georgians record-high inflation, empty shelves, and reliance on other countries for energy.”
