ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released the following statement as crime continues to rise across Georgia and Raphael Warnock’s complacency has put the lives and safety of Georgians at risk.
As crime rises across Georgia, especially in the city of Atlanta, Georgians continue to worry about the safety of their communities and their families, Raphael Warnock has done nothing. Just as Warnock works to take away the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens to self-defense, his campaign spends $25K per month on a personal security detail that carries the same types of guns he wants to ban. Warnock also called some police officers “gangsters and thugs”, a slap in the face to the brave men and women who risk their lives every day to keep Georgia safe.
